I went through the process, and now everytime I host a server it says failure to connect to lobby, and crashes the game.

Just do the same you would normally would,
type your router's IP address into the address bar
for linksys, I type in 192.168.1.1

But on that guide on port forwarding I can't get to my routers "homepage" and enabling port forwarding by typing my ip address into the address bar on my browser

it's not your local IP, it's your routers IP

Try 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1.. those 2 are pretty common.

its not up whenever im on wtf why cant i manually join listen everyone i got a idea get xfire add me as freind and tell all your freinds to do teh same and everyone you meet onine play tf2d so then we can actually talk to eachother and know when a server is on cause this is annoying my name on xfire is podasky

Have you updated the game? The lobby is just fine.

Oh well, im new i got this game today and there are -1/0 servers in the lobby... i LOL'd, but can anyone help me?

Wait for the servers to load.

If there aren't any and you tried hosting your own server first, reboot the game.

If you're not an admin it asks you if you want to let the program send data or something like that. If you don't do that it won't connect and show servers.

Yeah,

if your firewall isn't allowing your gg2 allow to access the internet allow it.

Also make sure you aren't running it from the ZIP file
