I'm tired of huge images in signatures and I've installed a forum mod that can limit the size of them. I haven't quite decided on a good max size though, so I'm taking suggestions.

Thoughts? I'm kinda thinking of allowing 3 300x200 images. The thing that bothers me is the height, I hate all the additional scrolling. Feel free to vent or complain or whatever you need to do, but really I'd just like some constructive suggestions.

I'll probably implement this tonight, I just wanted to give everyone a heads up before I went and did anything.

Current signature settings:
You have 6 lines with a character limit of 500.  Image limit is 3 pictures each with max dimensions of 150 x 500 (h x w).

I really like this, but I too am unsure of the height.  Trial and error will probably suffice.

I say, isn't there a way to shrink the images rather than to put a limit to which can fit in there?

awesome suggestion time:

400-500 should be high enough imo. dun care for width since it doesn't stretch the forum anyways.
image number shouldn't be limited, just the max size of the sig.

The signature image apocalypse is upon us, the forum software should be busy deleting all your huge signatures. Sorry.

If you feel the need to grieve or vent, this is the place to do it. Otherwise, its time to go about making some smaller sigs.

EDIT: Oh that was thoughtfull, it just shrank all your huge signatures down. Lucky you!

I think [200-250]x[650 to 720, somewhere in there] might be a good idea. It's just about the same as the post length on a 1024x768 monitor.

I seem to have ruined a fair number of sigs by limiting the amount of lines to 1. That seemed a tad excessive and destructive, so we are going up to two. Also, we'll be sticking with this image size.
