I am pretty sure it was simply called sentry and not autogun until it got the doomlaser.

Which was in 2.0.

So I don't think it's that old (well neither am I so dunno lopl)

Actually Engie and Spy only had shotguns in b1, they didn't do much else.

Engie got the Sentry in like B36 or something.
