Goddamit, AVG is going batshit on me and calling this a virus, even though I know it's not a trojan. I tried updating it, but since the anti-virus is retarded and calls every .exe a trojan, I can't even play this anymore. Help? It doesn't even let me acess the GG folder anymore.

This will hopefully be solved soon.  We need to contact AV companies and get them to resolve this.  Even building the gm8 tutorial brings a false positive for a virus.

In the meantime if AVG lets you set a folder as safe (do not check) try that out.  I assure you there's no malicious code in the gg2 source.

Try adding GG2 to the exception list. I gave Trueblade a link in IRC...
