Updated, recoded, and fixed the extrapolation. At least if there aren't any obscure and invisible bugs still lurking, but yeah. Already a huge improvement over before.

Now for the interpolation buffering...

ihawoirhvaiwdhv stop calling it extrapolation
extra. is an arithmetic/algebraic prediction and usually SIMPLIFIED SIMULATION OF COMPLEX SYSTEMS
what you're doing is (or should be - if you're not, do it) calculuses are in the realm of simulation prediction, because you have to uh, simulate the system, to do it.
The rundown is:
Extrapolation makes new data based only on that relevant data. Predicting new positions based wholly on positions of the past. Simulation is basing new positions off the system that made the old positions to begin with.

Seriously guys, stop debating terms.

It shouldn't matter what definition of alpha or extrapolation we are going with, it's pretty much irrelevant to PyGG2's development and it bogs down the thread. if whatever Orpheon did means progress is being made, then good on him.

The efficiency of this thread and the progress of development probably aren't related and it probably doesn't matter. I'm just tossing that out there.

In which case, I found a bunch of anagrams in your username for shits and giggles.

♫♫

Dasani is sonic

In! a Sonic is sad!

Casi, is sand an ion?

Ass and Co., I is in!

♫♫

... As you can see, on topic discussion is probably preferable.

Shitposting and having a discussion are two very different things.

Debating definitions that won't matter either way (like alpha, or whatever feature orpheon just coded) gets about as much accomplished as a bunch of anagrams. It's shitposting putting on airs for all it actually adds to the discussion.

I find it equally annoying, anyways.

lemme explain the dynamics; the op of this thread and moderator is having a discussion with someone and you interrupt because you seen to believe a forum thread directly affects development. We have enough regular moderators, we dont need any in the back seat.

i have a question, why do you need an image library while you have pygame?

Unfortunately, turning a section into a communist oppressive regime is not against the forum rules, so there is really nothing we can do.

I name it extrapolation because that's how the guy who more or less invented the networking system we're using called it.

And everyone else calls it prediction because his term is ambiguous, questionable, and estranged.
