It's awkward to explain, but I'll have a go at it.

I use the ring pickup sound from Sonic as my dingaling. It was in the generic 'Resources' folder and it worked as expected. When I put the new Damage indicator in, it started using the default one that came with the plugin instead. I replaced that one with my one (removing my one from the resources folder at the same time) and it doesn't play it at all now.

The plugin doesn't use the Resources folder anymore, it uses the dmgind folder.

// The dingaling played when you deal damage is located at /Plugins/dmgind/dingaling.wav

did you know that spinning stars work like this???

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. execute_strings on fire off the shoulder of Overmars. I watched object-beams glitter in the dark near the room_goto_fix. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears...in...rain. Time to die.

I've had WarHUD in my Plugins dir without its resources for ages. Wat? Also I'm not hearing any dingaling :cry:

Delete both. Download this. Get to the WarHUD's Git and download it, then copy its resources into the plugins folder. Only its resources.

Believe me, it works.

I made a mistake because the dingaling dir was hardcoded in two places. Here.

warHUD is compatible with this. I use both literally daily with /zero/ problems.

My win8 won't play replaced dingalings.
Original one works fine, no crashes with both old/new.
