Does this mean putting # in a message will no longer result in a new line? This was annoying

Also I'd request some kind of muting like the kick menu, that would prevent players from sending messages. Either the server would stop broadcasting messages from some clients, or the client would simply ignore messages from them.
I'd rather use the server-filter option, in case of maciej creating a spam bot that changes its name or something

Yeah that's fixed too.
Might make a small server plugin that extends the kick time and prevents kicked players from chatting as long as the server is up.

that isn't up to me, that's up to the other plugins. They don't know the chatbox exists so they just turn on whenever you press that key.

Is there any var that would allow these other plugins to know when the chatbox is focused or something? So we could easily check whether the player is typing something or actually playing or enabling/disabling a plugin.

That's an interesting case I hadn't considered when designing the plugin. Well, you're not supposed to do this, but an option is to download the zip file from http://www.ganggarrison.com/plugins/chat_v2.zip, then put it in a folder called ServerPluginsDebug inside your GG2 folder.

Orpheon said something about porting the chat from the beta version of gg2 to a plugin, so i'm guessing that this plugin is going to die soon.
The serverhost can always use my kickextender plugin to mute them
